This exquisite bronze action figure brings to life one of the American Civil War's most memorable moments.
Launched at the 2007 History Meets The Arts event in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, it depicts Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain poised to lead the charge down Little Round Top
Sweeping the rebels from the field, the rare bayonet charge ordered by Colonel Chamberlain was a measure which saved the entire Federal Army at a time when they had found themselves completely out of ammunition
The gleaming and lifelike bronze was a commission from The Gettysburg Frame Shop and Gallery where it is on permanent display
The moment seized in this sculpture has Colonel Chamberlain about to draw his sword as he surveys the men just behind him before giving the call to fix bayonets
The 8" tall figure has one foot up on the stone breastworks and, with the addition of Round Top and the base the total height is 10" high. Price for the bronze edition is $395.
